Senior Queen Nominees: Maddy Chastain, Anna Groden, and Courtney Hudson

Sophomore Princesses: Macie Turner, Sophie Little, and Alyssa Williams

Junior Princesses: Kaytryn Weemes, Autumn Garrett, and Katie Hill

Freshman Princesses: Mia Smith, Nicole Watson, and Jade Ochoa

Senior King Nominees: Chris Spillers, Sam Tollefsbol, and Harrison Perry

The 2017 Homecoming Nominees are set with the freshmen princesses being Jade Ochoa, Mia Smith, and Nicole Watson. Sophomore princesses include Sophie Little, Macie Turner, and Alyssa Williams. Junior princesses contain Autumn Garrett, Katie Hill, and Katryn Williams. The senior homecoming queen nominees are Maddy Chastain, Anna Groden, and Courtney Hudson. Senior homecoming king nominees are Harrison Perry, Chris Spillers, and Sam Tollefsbol. 

“I wasn’t expecting to be nominated,” King Nominee Christopher Spillers said. “but, I’m very excited for whoever wins this running. My mom was homecoming queen her senior year at Midlothian High School, so I am honored to be on Homecoming Court 2017.”

“My best friends, Sydney Little and Kamryn Owen campaigned for me to be voted as a nominee,” Queen nominee Anna Groden said. “I’m very shocked that I was nominated by my class, and it is a very good group of girls and the competition is very high to see who wins this years Homecoming queen title.”

“I’m super excited to be nominated Junior Princess,” Junior Princess nominee Autumn Garret said. “I’m super scared to stand in front of everybody Homecoming night.”

Sophomore, Macie Turner, is a two year reigning nominee at Midlothian High School.

“It’s an honor to be a princess two years in a row,” Turner said. “I love being apart of Midlothian High School and being involved in all the actives.”

Freshman Princesses, Mia Smith and Jade Ochoa, both agree on being nervous to be announced in front of the crowed this Friday night.

“I consider myself a social butterfly and I love to all sorts of people throughout our school,” Ochoa said. “I think this is has a big role in why I was nominated.”

Homecoming Queen and King will be announced during halftime at the Homecoming football game this Friday.
